Rooms

Multiplayer rooms are free for every signed-in player. Join once, keep playing normally in the selected mode, and each valid run updates that room leaderboard automatically.

Join with a room code or from Public Rooms. On first join you choose a nickname (3-24 chars), and that nickname is locked for the room after joining.

Create Room

Open the create modal for all tournament settings: visibility, mode, attempts, duration, window and player cap.

You can create rooms for every Spacebar test mode: Speed, Burst, Endurance, Reaction, Rhythm, Consistency, Double-Tap, and Hold & Release.

Host Workflow

Everything for running a fair event is now in one flow: configure, launch, monitor, and moderate.

Setup Rules Before Launch

Choose visibility (private code-only or public directory), game mode, duration, and optional mode-specific target.

All Spacebar test modes are supported when creating a room, so you can run the same event flow in any mode.

Set attempts per player, room window (auto-close timer), optional max players, and optional host auto-join with host nickname.

Start and Invite Players

Create the room, share the code, and direct players to Multiplayer Join. If public visibility is enabled, the room also appears in Public Rooms.

Scoring is automatic: every valid run in the selected mode is submitted directly to the room leaderboard.

Control Live Events

Use Manage to open room admin controls, close or reopen the room during the event, and keep rounds synchronized.

You can remove members when needed; kick also removes that player's room leaderboard entries to keep results consistent.

Finish Cleanly

When the event ends, either let the room auto-close via the time window or close it manually from Manage.

Delete room is available for full cleanup (members + room leaderboard data), while closed rooms remain visible in history.

Only rooms where you are host. Open one to manage status and members.

Room rules at a glance

  • Nickname is required on first join and is locked per room after that join.
  • Each accepted room submission consumes one attempt from that room's attempt limit.
  • Only the host can close/reopen/delete room or kick members.
  • Kicking a member removes that player's room leaderboard entries for that room.
