These terms explain how you can use Spacebar Count tools, account features, multiplayer rooms, official tournaments, and paid subscriptions.

Using the service
You may use Spacebar Count for personal, educational, and internal team use. You agree not to misuse the service or try to disrupt normal operation.
- No attempts to bypass security, rate limits, access controls, or account permissions.
- No automated abuse, scraping that harms service availability, or denial-of-service behavior.
- No illegal use or content that violates applicable law.
Accounts and access
Account sign-in uses email magic links. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure.
We may suspend or restrict access if we detect abuse, fraud, or behavior that threatens service reliability or fair competition.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are optional. If you subscribe, billing and payment processing are handled by Paddle.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
- Plan switching in Dashboard is scheduled to your renewal point (not an immediate rebill flow).
- Cancellation is scheduled for period end unless stated otherwise in your billing flow.
- Invoices and payment method updates are handled through the billing portal.

Rooms and tournaments
Multiplayer rooms and official tournaments are competitive features. Leaderboard data (such as nickname, score, and rank) is visible to other participants.
- Nickname rules and lock behavior apply as shown in the product UI.
- Attempt limits, scoring logic, and ranking windows are enforced by current tournament/room settings.
- Attempts to manipulate competition results may lead to removal of entries, feature restrictions, or account action.
Intellectual property
The service, software, design, and branding are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute protected parts of the service except where law permits.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available, but uninterrupted uptime is not guaranteed. Features, limits, and pricing may change over time.
When possible, changes that affect paid usage are reflected in-product and on the related policy pages.
Disclaimers and liability limits
Spacebar Count is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent allowed by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of data, revenue, or business interruption arising from use of the service.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country or region.
