How to make and spin a custom wheel

    1. Add names individually, or open Add a list and paste one option per line. Applying a bulk list updates the wheel to match that list.
    2. Check the entries and hide or remove any that should not take part. Click Spin the wheel to select an active option.
    3. In the result popup, choose Hide this option to leave it out of later spins, or Keep in wheel to keep it eligible.

Example: pick several different classroom presenters

Add each student once and spin for the first presenter. Hide that selected option before spinning for the next presenter. Continue until you have the required names. Keeping each winner in the wheel permits repeats; hiding a winner excludes that entry from later spins until you show it again.

Use the draw that fits the group

The wheel makes a single choice visible as an animation. For faster text-only selection of one or several entries, use the random name picker from a list. For a complete presentation order in one step, use the list randomizer. The team generator divides participants into groups.

For a complete round in which everyone gets one turn, use the student picker guide without repeats.

    Wheel spinner questions

Can I paste my own names into the wheel?

Yes. Use Add a list with one name or option per line. Blank lines are ignored. The bulk editor replaces the current entry list with the list you apply, so include every option you want to keep.

Does every name have the same chance?

Each active entry has the same chance. A name entered twice has two entries, so it has more chance than a name entered once. Check duplicates if everyone should have one chance. Hidden entries are excluded from the draw.

How do I prevent the same winner appearing again?

Choose Hide this option after the spin. This hides that entry rather than automatically removing every matching name, so start with one entry per person. Keep in wheel allows the selected entry to win again.

Does mixing the entries change their chances?

Mix changes the order around the wheel, and moving entries changes their positions. Neither gives an entry extra chances. Hiding or removing entries changes the active set that can be selected.

    Are names saved between visits?

Keep a copy of your input list to use the same wheel later. Leaving or reloading the page resets the wheel, so copy the names before you close it.
