List Shuffler FAQ

What is a list shuffler?

A list shuffler randomizes the order of your list. It is useful for queues, tasks, groups, and name lists.

How do I use the list shuffler?

Paste items into the input, one per line. Empty lines are ignored and extra spaces are trimmed automatically. Click "Shuffle list" to get a new order.

What does Remove duplicates do?

Remove duplicates keeps only the first instance of each line before shuffling. This is helpful when you want each name to appear once.

What does Avoid identical neighbors do?

It tries to prevent the same value from appearing back-to-back when duplicates exist. If a perfect separation is not possible, it still minimizes repeats.

What do the stats show?

Entries, Unique items, Duplicate lines, and Empty lines give a quick overview of your list and what was filtered.

Can I copy the result?

Yes. "Copy latest order" copies the last shuffled list. You can shuffle again anytime for a fresh order.

Is the list shuffler free and local?

Yes. Shuffling happens in your browser with no account required. We do not store individual lists on our servers. Hosting and ad partners may process technical data - see Privacy & Cookies for details.
